Motor Evaluation Services LLC (MES) is an independent electric motor evaluation company using the latest diagnostic technologies to provide clients with unbiased evaluations. MES provides services for complete electrical and mechanical evaluations of electric motors using non-intrusive testing equipment in order to determine their well-being. MES is capable of evaluating all types of motors whether it be part of a proactive maintenance program, troubleshooting regimen or for major upgrade recommendations.
MES’ evaluations will provide the customer the ability to perform proactive and preventative maintenance that will ultimately be more cost effective and safe then running into a possible catastrophic failure. We aim to be a key part of a Property Managers’, and Building Engineers’, routine maintenance of engine rooms, elevators, and any other motors under their jurisdiction as well as determining the time for major refurbishment or replacement.
MES will perform a series of diagnostic tests and assessments on electrical motors to determine their health and condition using a combination of electrical motor circuit analysis, insulation resistance testing, thermal imaging, vibration analysis and visual inspections. MES generates detailed reports that give the customer the data they need to better understand the sustainability of their motors and their plant. The depth of the evaluation allows those in charge of day-to-day operational responsibilities to perform proactive and preventative maintenance, as they see fit. These procedures will ultimately be safer and more cost effective than running into a possible catastrophic failure, and plant downtime.
